Bible Based Lessons

Nursery Ministry- Lessons & Songs
Each Sunday the Nursery Ministry Team shares a simple Biblical story/Lesson with the children in the Bears and Lions rooms.  Each child receives a small Bible with a picture of Jesus in it to hold during the lesson – the teacher has them “find Jesus” in the Bible each week before they learn about the truth told in the Bible story.  The songs below are sung every week throughout the year—the lesson changes monthly.

Greeting Song:
Good morning children, bless the Lord.
Jesus is King, Jesus is King.
Good morning children, bless the Lord.
He’s Lord of everything.

Bible Song:
Let’s Open up the Bible and read the Word of God
Let’s Open up the Bible and read the Word of God
Let’s Open up the Bible and read the Word of God
And hide it in our hearts.

The Bible is God’s Word, I’ll take it wherever I go.
The Bible is God’s Word, I’ll share it so others will know.

Closing Song:
The Lord bless you, the Lord keep you,
The Lord watch over you.
May Jesus keep you in His care,
In everything you do.

In the daytime and in the nighttime
And when your day is through.
May Jesus keep you in His care,
The Lord watch over you!
