Worship Team
“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness” (Psalm 29:2).
The Worship Team is a group of musicians who use their gifts to lead the congregation in worship. Their musical training and backgrounds vary significantly, but they work together with a common purpose. The team leads a blended style of worship, incorporating the great hymns that have stood the test of time along with newly composed songs for worship.

The team is open, by audition, to church members (or those in the process of becoming members) who feel called to this service. Each Sunday worship service has a required rehearsal the prior Thursday evening, at 7:00 p.m. We meet Sunday mornings at 7:30 and run the pieces again before service. You may volunteer to sing/play as often or as little as you like. Some members of the worship team are on the team once a month or once every other month; others are able to be present more frequently. Everyone has varying responsibilities outside the team, and we acknowledge and respect that. If you do not feel ready to take the steps to officially join the worship team, please feel free to come to our rehearsals and explore your abilities. You’re always welcome to come and sing or play along with us and learn the songs!  Contact the Director of Worship, Julie Armey.

Adult Choir
If you find yourself singing with the radio, tapping your feet to your favorite tunes, or making a joyful noise in the shower, then you are officially invited to become a member of the choir. Reading music is not a requirement, but the desire to lead God’s people in worship is. Our music mix includes traditional and contemporary for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass, so come out and give it a try. We’d love to have you share that fabulous voice of yours with us! We are also always looking for accompanists and other instrumentalists as well.  Contact Denise Gilmore at 823-8896 for more details.
