Newsletters

How do I get the Crossroads newsletter?
We distribute the letter each week via e-mail. If you attend Crossroads, share your e-mail address with us and we'll add you to the list.

How do I open the newsletter?
Most computers will automatically open a pdf file (a common document-sharing format and the one used for the newsletter). However, if your computer doesn't, click here to download a free reader from Adobe. Click here if you need to download a different verion of the Adobe Reader.

I have a slow connection, any ideas for speeding up the download?
The filesize and your connection speed determine how long the newsletter takes to download. But, once you've downloaded and opened the file, you can save it to your own computer by clicking the disk on the toolbar. Note where you've saved this file, then you can re-open as needed from your own computer, whether online or not.

Once I'm in the list, do I need the e-mail to open the newsletter?
No. We'll use the same link each week for the back page. Once you've opened it once, add it to your browser's favorites. Then you can always open the most recent version.

I'm clicking a link in the newsletter, but it's not opening the page. What do I do?
Once you've opened the newsletter, click the Select button on the toolbar. This will allow you to select text with your mouse, then you can copy and paste the text of the hotlink into the address bar of your browser. One caution: If a link is spread over multiple lines, each line will need to be copied into the address bar seperately, and in the correct order.
