What to Expect
Going to a church for the first time can be intimidating. To help ease your way and answer your questions, here's a summary of what you can expect at Crossroads Community Church. First, while we strive to grow spiritually at CCC, we're all regular people with everyday struggles--and we all had a first day at church, too. If you don't understand something, please ask someone or
give us a call (you'll find we're pretty friendly and welcoming).
When and Where
We start Sunday School for all ages at 9 AM. Sunday Morning Worship begins in the auditorium at 10 AM. Arriving 10 minutes early will allow you time to find everything you need and get settled in. (

Worship Service
Our worship service features a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns. It starts at 10 AM and finishes around 11:20. The Bible-based message aims to explain God's Word in a way that applies to your life today. Whether you're looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, we want to encourage you to draw closer to God.
Children of any age are welcome in the worship service. However, we do have a great
nursery for children through age four that includes age-appropriate Bible stories and songs. Older children (ages 4 through fourth grade) begin worship with their parents in the main fellowship hall. Around 10:30, parents may send their children to
KidZone / Kids' Club or keep them in the worship service.
When we pass the collection plate on your first visit, feel free to let it go by. Also, plan on staying for a few minutes after the service for light refreshments and some conversation. Connecting with others is one of the most important parts of church (
Hebrews 10:25).
What to Wear
God looks at your heart in worship more than He looks at your clothes (
1 Samuel 16:7). He wants us to give Him our best, whether that be dressing formally or coming casually. Don't let this concern you too much; we have people who dress at both ends of the spectrum.
What We Believe
Our passion at Crossroads is to see lives changed by the good news of Jesus Christ. We exist to share the love of Jesus with all who come, and we would be delighted to talk with you about how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (Want to know more about
what we believe or
how to receive Christ?)
The Rest of the Week
Sunday morning is a great start for connecting with God and others.
Opportunities during the week are designed to help you go deeper: small groups, men's and women's Bible studies, youth groups, picnics and lots more.
For Those with Disabilities
We welcome you! Our one-level facility and its restrooms are easily accessible for those with disabilities. We have reserved parking spaces near the front entrance to the building. Please tell us your needs, and we will certainly try to fill them.
Youth
Junior and Senior High also meets for Sunday School at 9 a.m., looking into God's Word and praying for one another. These groups also meet during the week to dig deeper.
- Quest - Middle school students often wrestle with who they are and God's role in their lives. Quest, for 7th and 8th graders, provides a great opportunity to explore what God says about the adventure of life while deepening relationships with other middle schoolers. Meets Monday nights, 7-8:30, at the church.
- Break Point - During high school, students make choices that affect who they will be in life. Break Point, for 9th to 12th graders, is a time to hang out together, have some fun, and jump into God’s Word. Meets Sunday nights, 6:30-8:30, at the church.
Infants and Toddlers
Crossroads has two nurseries, equipped with all the supplies needed to help children feel safe and comfortable and have a good time, giving you an opportunity to really focus on the worship service. We view caring for your children as more than glorified babysitting. It's a chance to help them know more about God and His Word with age-appropriate Bible stories, games and crafts. (Would you like to know more about our
kids' ministries?)
Communion
At Crossroads, Communion (The Lord's Supper) is a once-a-month celebration of the loving sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for sinners like us. It's open to all (3rd grade and older) who have publicly professed their faith in Christ at Crossroads or another gospel-believing church.
Please plan to join us on Sunday!
